Sometimes I wish he was dead. While that sounds bad, he was just taken from me. I knew it was going to happen. On Monday I came home to know Chihuahua mix jumping on me and spinning. I came home to Replay laying on the ground, and quietness. Sanity. I don’t want that sanity if I can’t have my boy though. Toby was no competition dog, he wasn’t an agility dog, but I think that made out bond so much stronger. I could spend hours just cuddling under my blanket with him, watching The Notebook, Titanic, you name it. He was up for that. Pure enjoyment plastered itself on his face ever since he came home with me in August. No dog can or will ever replace this boy in my heart, he truly was my guardian angel. Without Toby, I really don’t think I’d know what second chances were, or what true love was. Toby had a deep admiration for me, and I can say the same thing about him. This over hyper Chihuahua mix showed me to never give up. When the going gets tough, the tough DON’T get going. The weak get going. The tough stand up for themselves along with everyone they love.
